In the 6th minute Bror Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Sundström in the 11th minute of play. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Hampus Albohm came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Nolmyra FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Nolmyra FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Nolmyra FC's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hampus Albohm came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Nolmyra FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Vit Röd hit a great ball. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kasper Carlsson, made in the 34th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Handley Woodbridge. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hampus Albohm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, Nolmyra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Hampus Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Handley Woodbridge in the 51st minute of play. In the 51st minute, Handley Woodbridge made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Alberto Tafalla's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hampus Albohm firmly grabbed it by the left post. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Hampus Albohm threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hampus Albohm was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lautaro Mancebo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 59 minute of play. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Hampus Albohm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hampus Albohm was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Sundström in the 71st minute of play. Nick Gijselinkx made a great header on Nolmyra FC's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. Nolmyra FC's Hampus Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Nolmyra FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Nolmyra FC's Hampus Albohm managed to reach the ball for a save. Hampus Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Hampus Albohm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hampus Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nolmyra FC.
