At last the ball reached Pascual Carballar at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Vila Zumbi. 1-2. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Maciej Marchlewicz sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maciej Marchlewicz. Santino Seco hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Vila Zumbi's Carlos Fernando Schmidt got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Maciej Marchlewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Vila Zumbi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Colombia were winning 1-2.

Colombia's Axel Montenegro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guilherme Vianna in the 52 minute of the game. Maciej Marchlewicz scored 2-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. 68 minutes into the game, Luis Cazalla threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vila Zumbi's Gildo Seco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
