An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Davies in the 17th minute of play forced Firefighter BT ★Dac★'s goalkeeper George Frântu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Curacao's Rocco Owen got his second yellow card of the match in the 21st minute. The referee ordered Rocco Owen off the ground. Rocco Owen kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Stanley Wallace struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. George Frântu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curacao. In the 45th minute, Valer Buta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stanley Wallace made a kick off. Victor Paulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Charles Cox got a free kick in the 65th minute. The audience was convinced that Stanley Wallace's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Frântu was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Stanley Wallace received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. George Frântu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
