The corner led to Chile's Xavier Figueroa getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The Chile players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lugano 1 y 2 were winning 0-2.

After a rather tough play, Lugano 1 y 2's Dalmacio Valente got a free kick in the 65th minute. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
