Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) CENTAURO's Evelio Sasoin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Alan Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CENTAURO the free kick. The supporters of CENTAURO booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aaron Alcocer fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Aaron Alcocer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evelio Sasoin in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iker Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Angel Abella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Gualterio Jayvier could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. In the 30th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute of the match CENTAURO got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gualterio Jayvier ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gualterio Jayvier made a great header on CENTAURO's corner, it was just that Costa Rica's Benito Sanz managed to reach the ball for a save. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evelio Sasoin charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evelio Sasoin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when CENTAURO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Sasoin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualterio Jayvier in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Evelio Sasoin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

CENTAURO's Victorio Argoitz was substituted for Angel Abella. Gualterio Jayvier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 59 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Evelio Sasoin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 73 minutes of play, CENTAURO's Evelio Sasoin made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! CENTAURO made a substitution. Ceferino Frances replaced Ovidio Rivero. CENTAURO's Evelio Sasoin got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Evelio Sasoin off the ground. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when CENTAURO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Sasoin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Argoitz in the 90th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Argoitz in the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when CENTAURO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Tipi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Argoitz came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the CENTAURO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
