In the 4th minute, Jorge Magrina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herminio Luke. The goal made the score 1-0. Mateo Leguizamo charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Leguizamo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mateo Leguizamo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Moises Fernandino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Herminio Luke. Moises Fernandino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Abram Luque blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herminio Luke having to make a save. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Herminio Luke made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Dunamis's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Luque came free, but Herminio Luke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joshua Curbelo made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Abram Luque however managed to control. In the 28th minute of the match, Moises Fernandino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Herminio Luke was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 36 minutes into the match, Dunamis's goalkeeper Herminio Luke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Fernandino. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Herminio Luke in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot by Mateo Leguizamo from long distance, 45 minutes into the match, got Herminio Luke's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 47th match minute, Dunamis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Constancio to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. Herminio Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Magrina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Luke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, Abram Luque had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herminio Luke. Dunamis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Luque was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After having played for 65 minutes, Virgilio Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dunamis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Arias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Magrina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes in the game Jorge Magrina did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Abram Luque. 73 minutes into the game, Mateo Leguizamo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dunamis's Americo Costante quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jorge Magrina made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dunamis's Bonifacio Harriet. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Harriet, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Dunamis's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Leguizamo came free, but Herminio Luke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute of the match Abram Luque shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herminio Luke showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dunamis's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Luke came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herminio Luke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moises Fernandino's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Moises Fernandino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herminio Luke was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Jesus Carvallo made in the 91st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Abram Luque immediately put the ball in play. Silverio Xabat hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Joshua Curbelo got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Abram Luque. When the referee ended the match the El Salvador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
