Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, POPULAR F.C's goalkeeper Pancracio Paniagua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. After 26 minutes of play, POPULAR F.C's Victorio Pabla made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pancracio Paniagua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 38th minute of play. Clarke Brooks hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Pancracio Paniagua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Orlando Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 83rd minute of play forced POPULAR F.C's goalkeeper Pancracio Paniagua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
