Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Albert Remus took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to BESTIA GDAŃSK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Victorio Bertin hit a great ball. In the 4th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leszek Huchro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Remus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leszek Huchro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Albert Remus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 36 in the game by Albert Remus from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Daniel Zorita scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leszek Huchro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 45 minutes BESTIA GDAŃSK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Leszek Huchro made a huge save. After having played for 67 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Remus in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Remus in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. In the 79th match minute, BESTIA GDAŃSK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyryl Tyszka to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leszek Huchro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Leszek Huchro was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-2. If Bartosz Gad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leszek Huchro made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Victorio Bertin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Leszek Huchro in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
