Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. In the 11thth minute of the game Wiliam Perez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Alessandro Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Shi Tian Kuan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cauan Botelho got free with Benito Sanz in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cauan Botelho in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Perez in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Cauan Botelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Cauan Botelho could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Wiliam Perez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Cauan Botelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 55 minutes, Alexander Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Atlético Capixaba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Shi Tian Kuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 58 minutes of play, Atlético Capixaba's Wiliam Perez made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Cauan Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cauan Botelho scored 5-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atlético Capixaba's Fu Jun Feng was substituted for Shi Tian Kuan. Atlético Capixaba made a substitution. Otto Fesik replaced Wiliam Perez. Atlético Capixaba's Peder Ferro was substituted for Cristóvão Varela. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Fesik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Otto Fesik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Otto Fesik scored 8-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
