Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play forced Elegance Dijon's goalkeeper Dave Rinaldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabien Cantin in the 34th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stéphane Gaudy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd match minute, Elegance Dijon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daryl Douville to maneuver through the defense. Dave Rinaldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabien Cantin to make the kick off. After having played for 50 minutes, Fabien Cantin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dave Rinaldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Christian Minaud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Christian Minaud struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elegance Dijon. In the 69th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dave Rinaldi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 73rd match minute, Elegance Dijon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daryl Douville to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabien Cantin in the 74th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stéphane Gaudy who took care of the corner kick. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dave Rinaldi came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 77th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Cantin, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Minaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dave Rinaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. 89 minutes into the match, Elegance Dijon's goalkeeper Dave Rinaldi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
