With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Duarte in the 9th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Duarte Duarte in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emmanuel Reyes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Duarte Duarte made a huge save. In the 20th minute of the match Peru got a corner. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Duarte Duarte quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseo Mina in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte Duarte saved CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Victoriano Milian made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gustavo Brás hit a great ball. When Aquiles Duarte fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's protests and gave Aquiles Duarte a yellow card for diving instead. Aquiles Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Golo Duarte to make the kick off. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Duarte in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gar Galo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Duarte having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Duarte in the 61st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Diego Quadros in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Joaquin Prats. Gar Galo made in the 73rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Aquiles Duarte. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gar Galo in the 74 minute of the game. Duarte Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 76th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Ulisses Duarte lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Rolando Noboa. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Lencastre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
