A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Alan Campos hit a great ball. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Ramires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes Spartak das Kaldas got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Pinho. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Meira in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Pedro Meira notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 36 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. Paraguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Pedro Meira scored to the left of an out of position Jacobo Nores, making the score, 2-0. If Vítor Ramires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Jaime Pardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Spartak das Kaldas's Miguel Viegas got a free kick in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Hector Covarrubias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Angélico Moura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henrique Júdice kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Paraguay's attentive Hector Covarrubias managed to snatch the ball when Pedro Meira made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Angélico Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 78th minute of the match. Henrique Júdice struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spartak das Kaldas. Miguel Viegas's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Viegas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Spartak das Kaldas's Miguel Viegas got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 91st match minute, Spartak das Kaldas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Angélico Moura was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Primitivo Escribano. When the referee blew the final whistle, Spartak das Kaldas could leave the field as winners, despite Paraguay having more of the ball for most of the match.
