Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abdi Mehmet Rakim got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute of the match The Everett Hawks got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Feijo Fresnos ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Feijo Fresnos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Efraim Gilabert hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Abdi Mehmet Rakim notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The nice shot from Julian Murillo in the 19thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ludo Vanden Bossche had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The throw-in from Laureano Shantala in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 25th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Ludo Vanden Bossche successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A sloppy throw-in by Laureano Shantala in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 47 minutes into the match, The Everett Hawks's goalkeeper Ludo Vanden Bossche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ludo Vanden Bossche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 64 minutes, Willem-Jan Grootjans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Everett Hawks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willem-Jan Grootjans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laureano Shantala made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Everett Hawks's Jorg Van Halssbeeck was substituted for Willem-Jan Grootjans. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. 83 minutes into the match, Rafael Gallo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of The Everett Hawks's Ludo Vanden Bossche. Ludo Vanden Bossche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Fre van Eijnde came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, The Everett Hawks's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Ludo Vanden Bossche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
