In the 8th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Dalens Darlings's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Adam Biörnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Hajduk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Adam Hajduk made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Biörnberg having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Edgar Mellin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Mas in the 31st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Adam Hajduk notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Engström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Karl-Axel Bollström sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute, Dalens Darlings's Karl-Axel Bollström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Urbano Mas came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Dalens Darlings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Mas couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Mas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Hajduk in the 61st minute of play. Dalens Darlings's Adam Biörnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Secada in the 68th minute of play. Andreas Jonasson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Adam Hajduk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dalens Darlings made a substitution. Jakob Pihlberg replaced Felix Engström. Dalens Darlings's Adam Biörnberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Dalens Darlings from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dalens Darlings's goalkeeper Adam Biörnberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81stth minute of the game Karl-Axel Bollström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Mas in the 85th minute of play.
