Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duarte Duarte. Duarte Duarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 15th minute of play forced CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper Duarte Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aquiles Duarte in the 20 minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Rolando Noboa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 25th minute of the match, Ulisses Duarte tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 29thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Golo Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 36th minute of play forced CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper Duarte Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 37th minute. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Duarte Duarte despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Peru's Joaquin Prats got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Peru! After 46 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filinto Ferro who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Filinto Ferro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Golo Duarte made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Luz Tejedor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Golo Duarte in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gar Galo hit a great ball. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land made a substitution. Rodolfo Lencastre replaced Pablo Vegetti. After a rather tough play, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Gar Galo got a free kick in the 57th minute. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Filinto Ferro in the 60 minute of the game. Duarte Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Luz Tejedor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Duarte in the 84th minute of the match. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Duarte Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Tenorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eliseo Alcocer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru played a much better game than CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land and deserved their victory. The CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
