Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. Dalens Darlings's Adam Biörnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dalens Darlings's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Biörnberg came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 17th minute of play forced Dalens Darlings's goalkeeper Adam Biörnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Mas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Biörnberg having to interfere. After 24 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam Biörnberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the match, Dalens Darlings's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Adam Biörnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adam Biörnberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Adam Biörnberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adam Biörnberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Evert Kielberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Dalens Darlings's players had a chance to rest. Dalens Darlings's Evert Kielberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Karl-Axel Bollström hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Adam Biörnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Dalens Darlings players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Adam Biörnberg came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 68 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adam Biörnberg, 0-7. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Adam Biörnberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Adam Biörnberg to make any attempt to save it. If Adam Hajduk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 minutes of play, Dalens Darlings's Urbano Mas made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Mas, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dalens Darlings throughout the match.
