In the 3rd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Shahab Nikbakht-Vahedi. Red Army's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Red Army defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shahab Nikbakht-Vahedi. The Red Army fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shahab Nikbakht-Vahedi should have stopped the shot. After 11 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. The audience was convinced that Behnam Lahouti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After 13 minutes, Behnam Lahouti made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shahab Nikbakht-Vahedi having to interfere. Julio Vera had great luck who in the 19thth minute grab hold of the ball when Behnam Lahouti from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The Red Army fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shahab Nikbakht-Vahedi should have stopped the shot. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Shahab Nikbakht-Vahedi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shahab Nikbakht-Vahedi having to make a save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borna Hatami in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shahab Nikbakht-Vahedi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho scored 1-4 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shahab Nikbakht-Vahedi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Behnam Lahouti to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Sancho during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behnam Lahouti in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Mojtaba Faryadshiran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mojtaba Faryadshiran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Luis Andino hit a great ball. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shahab Nikbakht-Vahedi having to interfere. After 73 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shahab Nikbakht-Vahedi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Shahab Nikbakht-Vahedi. That made the score 2-6 after 76 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gholam Reza Dinarvand during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Borna Hatami's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
