Ray De Lauw made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 14th minute. With a little luck, Vetusta's Ray De Lauw got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Vetusta's goalkeeper Ray De Lauw had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vetusta's Jose-Manuel Jauregui. But to his dismay, Jose-Manuel Jauregui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 26 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Jose Manzanedo. When Ascencio Quintas came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Vetusta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ascencio Quintas couldn't finish the play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vetusta's Ray De Lauw was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th match minute, Vetusta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hanot Perdices to maneuver through the defense. In the 39thth minute of the game Ascencio Quintas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Chile booed when Vetusta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lei Yuan Zheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ray De Lauw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ray De Lauw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 68th minute of play forced Vetusta's goalkeeper Ray De Lauw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray De Lauw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Jose-Manuel Jauregui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolás Rua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Palomar in the 84th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 87th minute of the game was made by Andresito Sacristán with Marco Palomar as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ray De Lauw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
