Beppe Bomba hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bianco Desiderio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Achille Toccaceli was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play forced Casette's goalkeeper Bianco Desiderio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bianco Desiderio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davide Sciarretta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Achille Toccaceli's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Alex Brunelli hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Casette's Corrado Pavlu got a free kick in the 46th minute. Casette's Bianco Desiderio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of play. The Casette players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Ercole Scandella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 51st minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bianco Desiderio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 53rd minute. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Casette's Achille Toccaceli in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Bianco Desiderio was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Sciarretta in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Toccaceli came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Casette's goalkeeper Bianco Desiderio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Alex Brunelli kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. A very good chance. With a little luck, Casette's Bianco Desiderio got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Coscia in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Coscia came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casette were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Achille Toccaceli took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Achille Toccaceli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Ecuador players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
