Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lorenzo Osasun took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Leonardo Leoz threw the ball into play from the sideline. A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Ulisses Matorin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Cunha in the 4th minute of play. After 15 minutes A.F. Pindamonhangaba's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Leonardo Leoz made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Ulisses Matorin. The supporters of Mexico booed when A.F. Pindamonhangaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Gustavo Cunha came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gernando Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Guerra having to interfere. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.F. Pindamonhangaba's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Gernando Guerra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Manfredo Pinho hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Ulisses Matorin charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulisses Matorin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st match minute, A.F. Pindamonhangaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Matorin to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 43rd minute of the game, when Leonardo Leoz after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of A.F. Pindamonhangaba's goal. Leonardo Leoz was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 47th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Lekubegi in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Gernando Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfredo Pinho in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Luís Gustavo Cunha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Luís Gustavo Cunha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Osasun in the 59th minute. After 61 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Leoz. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Gernando Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 74th minute of play forced A.F. Pindamonhangaba's goalkeeper Gernando Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Ulisses Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Mazza hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 85th minute. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gernando Guerra quite easily take care of the ball. After 85 minutes, Manuel Mazza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.F. Pindamonhangaba and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manuel Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match.
