The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. With a left leg Raí Seco saved GAÚCHO FC from getting behind. If Vilhelm Lorden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Raí Seco was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Moises Tafalla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Moises Tafalla really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Gürsel Saltukalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Gürsel Saltukalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GAÚCHO FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
