Lennard Rossmanith came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dante Lacasa could save by the left post. Prospero Goethe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 28th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. 32 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jamal Roye. Friesenwerdermoor's Gerhard Neoral was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Friesenwerdermoor's Jona Hegekötter suffered a sore thigh after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Ingemar Mense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Prospero Goethe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. With a little luck, Friesenwerdermoor's Prospero Goethe got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great ball.
