Zacarias Shepherd charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zacarias Shepherd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 7th minute of play forced Dogo Argentino's goalkeeper Daniel Raebert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Eliseo Mina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Raebert was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fang Kang Guang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiburcio Mercurio during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Dogo Argentino got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Mercurio. Daniel Raebert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 35th minute of the match. Eliseo Mina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Raebert having to make a save. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dogo Argentino made a substitution. You Fei replaced Ivan Pillud. Dogo Argentino's Emanuele Passalacqua was substituted for Fang Kang Guang. In the 55th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Daniel Raebert saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Daniel Raebert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Raebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Raebert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 63rd minute of the match. Christian Luzea made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 72 minutes into the match, Dogo Argentino's goalkeeper Daniel Raebert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. 78 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuele Passalacqua came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luz Tejedor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Daniel Raebert made a huge save. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. 89 minutes into the game, Dogo Argentino's Emanuele Passalacqua nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Rafael Gallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Daniel Raebert made a huge save. With a little luck, Dogo Argentino's Daniel Raebert got control of the ball when Rafael Gallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dogo Argentino's Daniel Raebert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Dogo Argentino from getting a goal against them.
