Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Modesto Lehen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Social y Dep. Patagonia's Severo Laurgain in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. 9 minutes into the match, Severo Laurgain notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Laurgain in the 12th minute of play. The Social y Dep. Patagonia fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Social y Dep. Patagonia's Severo Laurgain looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 22nd minute, Arnaldo Bastia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Alcocer during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Social y Dep. Patagonia booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Severo Laurgain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Laurgain in the 43rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Laurgain in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Social y Dep. Patagonia were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severo Laurgain to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Severo Laurgain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severo Laurgain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Tobias Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 55th minute of play. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. A hard shot by Modesto Lehen from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Benito Sanz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severo Laurgain's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Severo Laurgain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severo Laurgain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Social y Dep. Patagonia's Severo Laurgain slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-7 after 67 minutes of play. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Natalio Mergildo was substituted for Severo Laurgain. Natalio Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 76 minutes into the game, Natalio Mergildo lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Benito Sanz. After 78 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Natalio Mergildo went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Natalio Mergildo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 83 minute of play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Social y Dep. Patagonia's Natalio Mergildo. But to his dismay, Natalio Mergildo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Natalio Mergildo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Social y Dep. Patagonia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
