Prospero Goethe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Friesenwerdermoor getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ingemar Mense hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Friesenwerdermoor's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Prospero Goethe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermann Luscher in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Goethe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingemar Mense hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Goethe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermann Luscher, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Prospero Goethe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Friesenwerdermoor's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tom Gerster, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 45 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Jamal Roye came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Friesenwerdermoor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Prospero Goethe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 50th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Jamal Roye made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Friesenwerdermoor's Prospero Goethe got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Jamal Roye got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-0. 67 minutes into the match. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Prospero Goethe made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Gerster in the 79th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Friesenwerdermoor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
