Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emil Enegren kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Buach Byrne in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Enegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC St. Pauli's Buach Byrne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save FC St. Pauli from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the game, Raik Ağın was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC St. Pauli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC St. Pauli's Raik Ağın got a free kick in the 11th minute. Hampus Jonsson's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hampus Jonsson helped the player get up and apologised. Abraham Alguacil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Buach Byrne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Buach Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Boris Ahlrot managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC St. Pauli's supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Ahlrot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the game, Isidoro Sarmiento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC St. Pauli the free kick. In the 34th minute Raik Ağın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Buach Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 55th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emil Enegren in the 58th minute. Buach Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Buach Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buach Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Johannes Brandin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Miralles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buach Byrne having to interfere. The FC St. Pauli players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
