In the 11th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morten Ueland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morten Ueland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 12th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Panama booed when AC Wipes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Pumnu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Morten Ueland got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 21st minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Morten Ueland saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 23rd minute, Tor-Arne Waaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Morten Ueland was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Tomas Berganza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Berganza really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After a rather tough play, AC Wipes's Søren Jelstad got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Morten Ueland saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Pumnu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Felipe Ros hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamber Kornes in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute AC Wipes were awarded a corner. Denis Pumnu went to the cornerflag to take it. AC Wipes's Denis Pumnu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcos Cotilla in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morten Ueland having to interfere. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Pumnu made a kick off. Hans-Kristian Skåra hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. AC Wipes's Jon-Inge Georgsen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Matthew Garrido, made in the 59th minute of the game. The supporters of AC Wipes booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Denis Pumnu came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the AC Wipes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Pumnu couldn't finish the play. Morten Ueland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, AC Wipes's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Morten Ueland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kamber Kornes got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AC Wipes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Denis Pumnu in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the AC Wipes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Panama.
