Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Quimeras Jrs.'s Conrado Txurio got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Conrado Txurio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 35 minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conrado Txurio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Conrado Txurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justino Sayveon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Quimeras Jrs.'s Jonatan Orlin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. Quimeras Jrs.'s Conrado Txurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-1. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
