In the 10th minute Feliberto Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Honorio Aztore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 14 minutes, Paulino Katia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nuevo Horizonte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Katia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Katia in the 17th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Romon Oliver. Nuevo Horizonte's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Jarell Hill scored to the left of an out of position Niceto Virila, making the score, 1-2. 29 minutes into the match, Jarell Hill had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Virila. Nuevo Horizonte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jarell Hill was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Paulino Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Jamaica's Niceto Virila threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romon Oliver, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Aztore in the 42nd minute of play. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Ramirez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomero Lapurdi to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Baldomero Lapurdi took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Demonde Jacobson to make any attempt to save it. In the 75th minute, Feliberto Ramirez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Demonde Jacobson. The goal made the score 2-4. Guido Lucero kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Jamaall Padmore charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jamaall Padmore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jamaall Padmore hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Nuevo Horizonte's Hernan Gumaro got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 90th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wayan Freeman to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Lapurdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
