Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Hagström having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Ulf Ros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Hagström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcus Hagström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marcus Hagström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Rank 1's Marcus Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Marcus Hagström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. When Michael Lundqvist came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Rank 1 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Lundqvist couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the game, John Lövkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rank 1's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 20th minute, John Lövkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcus Hagström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 24 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Marcus Hagström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Hagström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conny Vesterberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Conny Vesterberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Rank 1 were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fredric Åhman took the corner. The corner ended in Fredric Åhman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 潘岚铮, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Hagström made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Fabiano Antonini hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 70 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Fredric Åhman, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conny Vesterberg in the 73rd minute of play. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Marcus Hagström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 78th minute, 潘岚铮 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Björn Skog kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Hagström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rank 1's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Rank 1 getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Conny Vesterberg hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Hagström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Felix Curtis kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Marcus Hagström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcus Hagström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
