Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Överås BK's Mikael Vennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Vennerström having to interfere. Överås BK's Mikael Vennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Överås BK's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Vennerström came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobias Kellberg in the 29th minute. In the 35th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Mikael Vennerström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tobias Kellberg fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Överås BK's protests and gave Tobias Kellberg a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikael Vennerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Mikael Vennerström made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Andreas Bark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mikael Vennerström. That made the score 0-3 in the 66 minute of play. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mikael Vennerström having to make a save. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikael Vennerström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. If Tobias Kellberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Bark in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match Överås BK got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bengt Hedbom ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Överås BK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Överås BK's goalkeeper Mikael Vennerström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Vennerström having to interfere. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
