The crowd rose to their feet as Hector Herensuge kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thiago Pliego. That made the score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. Desiderio Montel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 29th minute of play. Chile were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Village Saint Charles FRC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. Orlando Casaus was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 35th minute of play forced Village Saint Charles FRC's goalkeeper Desiderio Montel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Village Saint Charles FRC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 62nd minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Desiderio Montel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Hector Herensuge succeeded in the game's 64th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. After a rather tough play, Village Saint Charles FRC's Chucky Segundo got a free kick in the 70th minute. Village Saint Charles FRC's Gerasimos Tzanetakos was substituted for Llorienzo Varela. Chile's Mariano Lacasa was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 93rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The Village Saint Charles FRC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chile were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
