Fernando Celipe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Celipe. 15 minutes in the game Sokratis Kotsonis did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Fernando Celipe. After a rather tough play, Chile's Francisco Carballar got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Fernando Celipe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Fernando Celipe notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ARAKLISPOR's Sokratis Kotsonis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Garrido in the 34 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Celipe in the 37th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Fernando Celipe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jose Manzanedo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Celipe made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Chile's Mariano Lacasa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aşık Tunçdağ. That made the score 4-1 after 52 minutes of play. The throw-in from Felix Garrido in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ARAKLISPOR's Sokratis Kotsonis. Fernando Celipe might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Celipe ran back to his position shaking his head. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Celipe in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Dong Zhan Xiang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ARAKLISPOR getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Dong Zhan Xiang hit a great ball. With a little luck, ARAKLISPOR's Aşık Tunçdağ got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aşık Tunçdağ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 69th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aşık Tunçdağ was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Aşık Tunçdağ made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Celipe in the 86th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aşık Tunçdağ having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Celipe came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Sokratis Kotsonis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ARAKLISPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. A collision led to ARAKLISPOR getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Sokratis Kotsonis hit a great ball.
