Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maurice Nay started the match with the kick off. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jérémy Delépine in the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jérémy Delépine in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. In the 14th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Maurice Nay took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jérémy Delépine struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Labbeville. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Labbeville's Gustave Parisse. But to his dismay, Gustave Parisse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 28th minute, Gustave Parisse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 31st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Labbeville booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurice Nay in the 33rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Puig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Lamine Araujo made a huge save. Labbeville's Lamine Araujo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lamine Araujo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Costa Rica's Axel Tasis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lamine Araujo. That made the score 1-4 after 45 minutes of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

After 56 played minutes Maurice Nay rounded Costa Rica's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. Olivier Clemenceau kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lamine Araujo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Labbeville's zone, Eliseo Noboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lamine Araujo came out of the goal and Eliseo Noboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lamine Araujo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lamine Araujo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Labbeville's Barnabé Panel got a free kick in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jérémy Delépine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Labbeville's supporters rose to their feet, but Jérémy Delépine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lamine Araujo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lamine Araujo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Labbeville getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jason Azema hit a great ball.
