In the 40th minute, Kaapo Lobachevskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Arsenal FC's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saivis Rentovics, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 47th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Tobis Joey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with 楚笑霖 in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Arsenal FC's 楚笑霖 got control of the ball when Patricio Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobis Joey in the 90th minute of play. Arsenal FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
