An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateusz Matusiak in the 18th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Indiano made in the 20th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kevin Mastache however managed to control. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ender Tanacan having to make a save. 22 minutes into the match, 1461 Trabzon's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Ender Tanacan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as 1461 Trabzon's Mateusz Matusiak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateusz Matusiak went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateusz Matusiak in the 38th minute of play. 1461 Trabzon's attentive Sabit Acemoğlu managed to snatch the ball when Antonio Indiano made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. 44 minutes into the game, Macit Semi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1461 Trabzon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. After a rather tough play, 1461 Trabzon's Macit Semi got a free kick in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. 1461 Trabzon's Ender Tanacan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 54th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Orlando Tafalla heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 62nd minute of play forced 1461 Trabzon's goalkeeper Ender Tanacan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ender Tanacan came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Santino Seco. But to his dismay, Santino Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. The supporters of Colombia booed when 1461 Trabzon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yusuf İrem didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute of the match, Kevin Mastache sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Ender Tanacan showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. When Mateusz Matusiak came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the 1461 Trabzon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateusz Matusiak couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Ender Tanacan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, 1461 Trabzon's Macit Semi got a free kick in the 86th minute. Santino Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Ender Tanacan made a huge save. 1461 Trabzon's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
