After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Justo Lukach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Justo Lukach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Lukach in the 14th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético da Colina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ref Bunsoy in the 16th minute. Atlético da Colina's Hílton Dias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético da Colina from getting a goal against them. Justo Lukach's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Justo Lukach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Hílton Dias was a little too slow when Axel Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-1. After 35 minutes of play, Atlético da Colina's Justo Lukach made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Set Master, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético da Colina's attentive Tom Demange managed to snatch the ball when Kevin Mastache made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. Hílton Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justo Lukach to make the kick off. Hílton Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Justo Lukach kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 1-3 in the 61 minute of play. Tom Demange charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tom Demange the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Atlético da Colina's Tom Demange got a free kick in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 88th minute of play forced Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper Hílton Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Ref Bunsoy threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Atlético da Colina's Hílton Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 96th minute of play. The Atlético da Colina supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atlético da Colina would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
