Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Pattaya Dolphins F.C's Claes Örnberg got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Garrido. Mikael Olsson scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abraham Alguacil's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Witalis Merski firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 19th minute, Panama's Tomas Berganza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Frans Galle kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sune Kellberg in the 28th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Sune Kellberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pattaya Dolphins F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claes Örnberg during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes Pattaya Dolphins F.C got a freekick which was hit by Claes Örnberg. In the 40th minute Mikael Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Alguacil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 53 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Pattaya Dolphins F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pattaya Dolphins F.C booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla stood somewhat misplaced when Sune Kellberg came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 55 minute. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Olsson in the 57th minute of the match. Karl-Michael Hammarbäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claes Örnberg hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Michael Löv hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Mikael Olsson scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 1-5. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thomas Johansson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 80 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Witalis Merski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sune Kellberg's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sune Kellberg helped the player get up and apologised. Panama made a substitution. Oscar Laguna replaced Alex Cambeiro. In the 93rd match minute, Pattaya Dolphins F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sune Kellberg to maneuver through the defense. Pattaya Dolphins F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
