KP Brzeg Dolny's Antoni Piesciuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 23rd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Baycan Tura kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 2-1 in the 24 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antoni Piesciuk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antoni Piesciuk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antoni Piesciuk was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stuart Armstrong showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 41 minute of play. Antoni Piesciuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Piesciuk having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stuart Armstrong to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KP Brzeg Dolny the free kick. Antoni Piesciuk was a little too slow when Agustín Saelices got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 3-2. After having played for 58 minutes, Stuart Armstrong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KP Brzeg Dolny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stuart Armstrong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Antoni Piesciuk however easily saved by the left post. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Antoni Piesciuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KP Brzeg Dolny's goalie prevented a goal. Antoni Piesciuk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute. With his leg Antoni Piesciuk managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 96 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented Antoni Piesciuk managed to make a qualified save. KP Brzeg Dolny's players were relieved.
