Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carmine Saturno started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Biagio Chioda in the 3rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Rombiolo BR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Biagio Chioda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Biagio Chioda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The audience was convinced that Carmine Saturno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 24th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Biagio Chioda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the game, Rombiolo BR's Biagio Chioda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Aldo Padula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Aldo Padula's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Aldo Padula took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. Emilio Grassi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Puig went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. In the 55th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Francesco Melfi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmine Saturno. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rombiolo BR made a substitution. In the 73rd minute, Concetto Dominici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Rivera hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Emilio Grassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Biagio Chioda. 83 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Chioda came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Biagio Chioda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Biagio Chioda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Chioda in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Carmine Saturno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rombiolo BR were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
