An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 42nd minute of play forced Real Llull de Reus's goalkeeper Sabri Erdoğan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaid Malek got free with Rolando Noboa in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Sabri Erdoğan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sansone Poso was the one to do the kick off.
