Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Przemyslaw Przybylo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Milosz Ikalewicz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Milosz Ikalewiczs short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milosz Ikalewicz got free with Julio Vera in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute, Przemyslaw Przybylo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Józef Wandzik. Józef Wandzik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Józef Wandzik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Józef Wandzik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tymoteusz Rakowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Arias lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 28th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Zbyszko Walkowski got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Julio Vera. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Przemyslaw Przybylo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 37 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Zenon Jajecznica was substituted for Thanasis Lillis. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Sancho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Zenon Jajecznica fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cosmos 1984 NewDance's protests and gave Zenon Jajecznica a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cosmos 1984 NewDance getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Zenon Jajecznica hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Wlodzimierz Zagrobelny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th match minute, Cosmos 1984 NewDance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wlodzimierz Zagrobelny to maneuver through the defense. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Józef Wandzik in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Józef Wandzik made a huge save. A collision led to Cosmos 1984 NewDance getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Wlodzimierz Zagrobelny hit a great ball. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Remigiusz Barys was substituted for Wlodzimierz Zagrobelny. In the 70th match minute, Cosmos 1984 NewDance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wlodzimierz Zagrobelny to maneuver through the defense. Remigiusz Barys charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remigiusz Barys the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Milosz Ikalewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 83 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Przemyslaw Przybylo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
