Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Xandinho Kane slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 34th minute of play forced New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Xande Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xandinho Kane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lamine Xande to strike the kick off in the second half. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xandinho Kane got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lamine Xande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Nicolas De la Cruz:s penalty. 63 minutes into the game, Lamine Xande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Joinville - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Robinho de Souza was substituted for Xande Musiala. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Emílio Martins was substituted for Durvalino Travassos. Lamine Xande hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ronaldo Viana's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 90 minutes of play New Joinville - FSCMZ's Lamine Xande was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Lamine Xande kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. A hard shot by Camilo Gaos from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Xande Buffon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A hard shot 94 in the game by Patricio Costa from a close distance when the talented Xande Buffon managed to make a qualified save. New Joinville - FSCMZ's players were relieved. In the 98th minute, Xandinho Kane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for New Joinville - FSCMZ.
