After a rather tough play, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Kryspin Sala got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zbyszko Walkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Jaime Cazalla, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Cosmos 1984 NewDance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Przemyslaw Przybylo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goalkeeper Józef Wandzik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Wlodzimierz Zagrobelny kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Józef Wandzik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 19th minute. Przemyslaw Przybylo scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Józef Wandzik when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd minute Przemyslaw Przybylo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Radoslaw Starogardzki with Tymoteusz Rakowski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Przemyslaw Przybylo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Zenon Jajecznica was substituted for Thanasis Lillis. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Przemyslaw Przybylo in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. A well done corner resulted in Przemyslaw Przybylo drilling the ball in to score 0-3 behind Uruguay's goalkeeper. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Przemyslaw Przybylo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Przemyslaw Przybylo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Franco hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Cosmos 1984 NewDance made a substitution. Cyryl Prosowski replaced Kryspin Sala. Camilo Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Cosmos 1984 NewDance got a freekick which was hit by Cyryl Prosowski. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Milosz Ikalewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Józef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 71st minute of play. Cosmos 1984 NewDance made a substitution. Remigiusz Barys replaced Wlodzimierz Zagrobelny. Józef Wandzik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Cazalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Przemyslaw Przybylo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Radoslaw Starogardzki with Hector Dockx as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Przemyslaw Przybylo in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Milosz Ikalewicz got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 91 played minutes, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Zenon Jajecznica shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cosmos 1984 NewDance reached it. Józef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Józef Wandzik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
