Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Damaso Hurko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Peru's Alonso Berganza to fire away a dangerous shot which Damaso Hurko despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Austral FC's goalkeeper Damaso Hurko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nisio Iturmendi made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Jerold Grijalba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Jerold Grijalba elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Damaso Hurko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. 20 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damaso Hurko. Austral FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Damaso Hurko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Milagros Fraga got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute of the game Eduardo Pirro made a throw-in which Nisio Iturmendi played forward. The throw-in from Eduardo Pirro in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nisio Iturmendi in the 32 minute of the game. Damaso Hurko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Eduardo Pirro made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damaso Hurko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damaso Hurko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Austral FC's Damaso Hurko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Austral FC's goalkeeper Damaso Hurko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Damaso Hurko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerold Grijalba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felipe Benito kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Austral FC's Eduardo Pirro got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Luz Tejedor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damaso Hurko skillfully saved the ball. In the 61st minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 64th minute, Milagros Fraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th match minute, Austral FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goizeder Infante to maneuver through the defense. Luz Tejedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Austral FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Damaso Hurko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damaso Hurko was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Damaso Hurko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damaso Hurko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Nisio Iturmendi made in the 85th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Goizeder Infante however managed to control. Rafael Gallo came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Damaso Hurko could save by the left post.
