Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Boyko Koynov got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play forced Victory FC's goalkeeper Lyuboslav Fudulov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of play forced Victory FC's goalkeeper Lyuboslav Fudulov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes Victory FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Victory FC's Lyuboslav Fudulov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Victory FC's Marko Kerkenezov got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Victory FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Lyuboslav Fudulov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play forced Victory FC's goalkeeper Lyuboslav Fudulov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyuboslav Fudulov having to interfere. After some careless play in the Victory FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lyuboslav Fudulov. The Victory FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lyuboslav Fudulov should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 34th minute of play forced Victory FC's goalkeeper Lyuboslav Fudulov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute. In the 35th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Marko Kerkenezov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Boyko Koynov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-1. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 47thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Victory FC's Lyuboslav Fudulov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Victory FC's Tomislav Batakliev was substituted for Laureano Medina. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Lyuboslav Fudulov in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Marko Kerkenezov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 63rdth minute of the game Tzolo Marchovski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute, Ascencio Cartagena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita shot from long distance in the 65th minute, but Lyuboslav Fudulov was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After 68 minutes Victory FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Lyuboslav Fudulov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Antonio Arias made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Victory FC's Lyuboslav Fudulov managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tzolo Marchovski in the 80th minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Victory FC got a freekick which was hit by Galabin Fingarov. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Victory FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Hadzhipetkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 86th minute. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Lyuboslav Fudulov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Victory FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lyuboslav Fudulov came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
