Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michel van der Bij. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. Joško Van Landschoot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Michel van der Bij made a huge save. In the 26th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. ISPARTASPOR U21's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alberto Tafalla was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Michel van der Bij in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michel van der Bij made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Michel van der Bij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Gelmiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ISPARTASPOR U21's Michel van der Bij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 53rd minute of play. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michel van der Bij. Michel van der Bij dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.
