Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. Patrik Markos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrik Markos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Markos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the ZLA FC defense, Agustín Saelices kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrik Markos. The ZLA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrik Markos should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Patrik Markos. ZLA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Patrik Markos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Krisztián Forgács tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gyula Medgyesi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pál Szénási was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Patrik Markos firmly grabbed it by the left post. It was a well-played corner which Juan Sebastián Puig managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 57 minutes into the match, ZLA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Sebastián Puig came free, but Patrik Markos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ZLA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ágoston Szilágyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Markos having to interfere. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Patrik Markos made a huge save. In the 67th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Patrik Markos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Patrik Markos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, ZLA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pál Soós to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Markos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
