Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Javier Della Francesca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play forced AC Roma's goalkeeper Cristoforo Brillante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Alvaro Sforza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, AC Roma's Alvaro Sforza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Della Francesca in the 30th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristoforo Brillante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Alvaro Sforza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 2-0. In the 40th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristoforo Brillante was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Sforza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Alvaro Sforza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 55th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner ended in Alvaro Sforza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After 60 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Fatbardh Malko. Daniel Zorita made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 63rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Cristoforo Brillante would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Alvaro Sforza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Sforza in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th match minute, AC Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fatbardh Malko to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Sforza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Sforza in the 79th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Sforza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
