Joel Gaona scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvino Domingo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leo Inautzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaunti Cantoral, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 23rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvino Domingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Leszek Jeziorkowski made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Silvino Domingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Jaunti Cantoral came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 minutes, Gasteiz Amarita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MetalGarurumon F.C and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silvino Domingo was a little too slow when Joel Gaona got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mexico! The MetalGarurumon F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
